Notes:
1.The host team will be the home team for all games and will supply all baseballs and pay all umpires.
2.The home team is responsible for determining whether weather conditions permit the playing of any scheduled game. The home team is also responsible for notifying the visiting team with enough advance time if a game has to be cancelled. Games rained out may be difficult to reschedule, but doing so will be up to the two teams involved.
3.Please observe the playing rules as outlined in the Little League rule book, paying special attention to pitching regulations. The host team keeps the pitch count for each pitcher. Pitch count sheets are signed by both teams and brought by managers to each game. We will use pitch count “option #2”---the one which never requires any games rest.
4.It is suggested that teams use an extra hitter (EH) if they have 10 or more players to start the game. The DH is optional as described in the Little League rule book.
5.The “10 run rule” is in effect after the trailing team has batted through five (5) innings.
6.Please check with your next opponent before every game to verify the location of the field and the starting time.
Please look over the schedule of games carefully and get back to me regarding any mistakes I may have missed or any changes that need to be made. I will attempt to help make changes, but it is preferable for the teams involved to work it out and then just report the change to me.
Please keep in touch with each other, so teams are not surprised by changes in days, times, or locations at the last minute.
If you email me scores of games, I will send everyone those results once a week.
